DAY 01. PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – KUMAI BOAT HARBOR – CAMP 01 TANJUNG HARAPAN (L.D) Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, you will be picked up by our local guide and transferred to Kumai Boat Harbor by car (approx. 20 minutes). From Kumai Harbor, you will continue by private houseboat (Kelotok) to Tanjung Puting National Park (approx. 2 hours). A Kelotok is a traditional wooden river houseboat specially designed for tourists, complete with an upper deck so you can comfortably enjoy the tropical rainforest scenery. During the journey along the Sekonyer River, you will have the opportunity to observe wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, macaques, and various kinds of birds. You will stop at Camp 01 Tanjung Harapan Station to see the orangutan feeding time at 15:00 WIB. However, this depends on your flight schedule from Jakarta to Pangkalan Bun.
Overnight on the houseboat. On the boat, you will find tables, chairs, mattresses/cushions, pillows, mosquito nets, a toilet, kitchen, solar panels, and a generator for electricity.
DAY 02. SEKONYER RIVER – CAMP 02 PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP 03 LEAKEY (B.L.D) After breakfast at 07:00 WIB, you will travel upriver by houseboat for approximately 2 hours to Camp Leakey (Research Center). Before arriving at Camp Leakey, you will stop at Camp 02 Pondok Tanggui to see the orangutan feeding time at 09:00 WIB, then continue to Camp Leakey. After lunch on the houseboat, you will have the opportunity to take a short trekking activity around Camp Leakey or visit the Information Center before seeing the orangutan feeding time at 14:00 WIB. After the feeding session, your guide will take you back to the houseboat, where our team will serve tea, coffee, and snacks. The journey then continues downstream back toward Camp 01 Tanjung Harapan. During the trip, you can enjoy the beautiful river scenery and peaceful rainforest atmosphere. Free time and overnight on the houseboat.
DAY 03. SEKONYER RIVER – KUMAI BOAT HARBOR – BLUE KECUBUNG HOTEL, PANGKALAN BUN (B.L.D) After breakfast at 08:00 WIB, your guide will take you across to Tanjung Harapan Village, where you can walk around the village, visit souvenir shops, observe local community activities, or visit the local school. After the village tour, you will return to the houseboat, where our team will serve tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and lunch. At approximately 13:00 WIB, the journey continues back to Kumai Village by boat. Upon arrival, your guide will prepare the car transfer to Blue Kecubung Hotel in Pangkalan Bun Town. Your guide will assist you with the hotel check-in process before allowing you to rest and enjoy your free time at the hotel. Overnight at Blue Kecubung Hotel.
DAY 04. BLUE KECUBUNG HOTEL – PANGKALAN BUN CITY TOUR – GRILL FISH RESTAURANT (B.L.D) After breakfast at around 07:00–08:00 WIB, your guide will pick you up at Blue Kecubung Hotel in Pangkalan Bun Town for a city tour. The tour includes visits to:
You will also stop at a special grilled fish and grilled chicken restaurant (or another local restaurant in Pangkalan Bun Town) for lunch. After the city tour, you will return to Blue Kecubung Hotel to rest, take a bath, enjoy dinner, and spend your free time. Overnight at Blue Kecubung Hotel.
Note: Meals, breakfast, dinner, soft drinks, and snacks are included during your stay in Pangkalan Bun Town.
DAY 05. BLUE KECUBUNG HOTEL – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT (B) After breakfast at around 07:00–08:00 WIB, your guide will pick you up at Blue Kecubung Hotel and transfer you directly to Pangkalan Bun Airport by car. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will assist you with checking your flight schedule before saying goodbye. End of Tour
