DAY 01. JAKARTA AIRPORT – SAM RATULANGI AIRPORT – HOMESTAY TANGKOKO (L.D) Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado (approx. 16:00 WITA, either in the morning or afternoon), you will be picked up by our local guide and transferred to Tangkoko Homestay in Bitung Village by car (approx. 2 hours drive). After arriving at the homestay, you may check in and place your belongings in the room. Room facilities include air conditioning or fan rooms with standard shower facilities (non-hot water). In the evening, our local guide will take you into the forest area to look for black tarantulas around the tree trunks. After the night walk, you will return to the homestay to shower and enjoy dinner. Free time afterward. Please bring your own mineral water and some biscuits/snacks. During the morning excursion, you may encounter Black Macaca Nigra monkeys in the wild, and with some luck, also spot bear cuscus, hornbills, and other wildlife.
DAY 02. HOMESTAY TANGKOKO, BITUNG – TANGKOKO NATIONAL PARK (B.L.D) After breakfast at the homestay, our local guide will prepare for the forest excursion starting around 05:00–06:00 WITA. You will travel by car to the parking area (approx. 10 minutes), then continue with a jungle walk for approximately 3 hours to search for wildlife such as:
After the morning trek, you will return to the homestay for lunch and rest. In the afternoon around 15:00–16:00 WITA, you will return to the forest again to continue wildlife photography and observation activities. Your guide will lead you to the large banyan tree area, one of the favorite resting places of the Spectral Tarsier. If conditions are suitable, you may observe the tarsiers closely while they search for grasshoppers at night. Afterward, return to the homestay for dinner and shower. Later in the evening, your guide may take you back into the forest area to search for smaller black tarantulas around tree holes. Please bring your own mineral water and snacks during the excursion. During the morning trip, you may again encounter Black Macaca Nigra, bear cuscus, hornbills, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
DAY 03. HOMESTAY TANGKOKO – SAM RATULANGI AIRPORT – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT (B) Wake up early at around 04:00–04:30 WITA. Our guide will prepare the car transfer to Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado. You will continue your flight via Jakarta before connecting to Pangkalan Bun Airport, the main gateway to the Orangutan Tour in Tanjung Puting National Park (TNTP).
BOOKING INFORMATION A down payment of 50% is required upon booking and should be paid within 3 days after confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival at Manado Airport. Payments can only be made via bank transfer to our Indonesian Rupiah account. Unfortunately, we do not accept credit card payments. Please note that there is no ATM available near Batu Putih Village / Tangkoko area, so guests are advised to prepare sufficient cash for personal expenses.
IMPORTANT NOTE By booking this trip, we will arrange experienced and reliable park rangers who are familiar with the jungle and know the best locations to spot wildlife inside Tangkoko National Park. Without advance booking, local park authorities may assign guides who may have limited English skills or less experience in wildlife spotting. For better arrangements, kindly book in advance. DAY 01. PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – KUMAI BOAT HARBOR – SEKONYER RIVER – CAMP 01 (L.D) Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, you will be picked up by our local guide and transferred to Kumai Harbor by car (approx. 20 minutes). From Kumai Harbor, you will continue by private houseboat (Kelotok) to Tanjung Puting National Park for approximately 2 hours. A Kelotok is a traditional wooden river houseboat specially designed for tourists, complete with an upper deck so you can comfortably enjoy the tropical rainforest scenery. During the journey along the Sekonyer River, you will have the opportunity to observe wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, macaques, and various kinds of birds. You will stop at Camp 01 Tanjung Harapan Station to see the orangutan feeding time at 15:00 WIB. However, this depends on your flight arrival schedule.

DAY 02. SEKONYER RIVER – PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY (B.L.D) After breakfast, you will travel upriver by houseboat for approximately 2 hours to Camp Leakey (Research Center). Before arriving at Camp Leakey, you will stop at Pondok Tanggui Station to see the orangutan feeding time at 09:00 WIB. After lunch on the houseboat, you may enjoy a short trekking activity around Camp Leakey or visit the Information Center before seeing the orangutan feeding session at 14:00 WIB. During the return journey, you can enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery and natural river atmosphere. At night, if the weather is good, you may see fireflies illuminating the nipa palm trees along the riverbank. Overnight on the houseboat.
DAY 03. SEKONYER RIVER – KUMAI BOAT HARBOR – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT (B) After breakfast, you will return by houseboat to Kumai Harbor (approx. 25–30 minutes). Upon arrival, our local guide will prepare the car transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport. End of Tour
IMPORTANT NOTE If you would like to see the orangutan feeding session at 15:00 WIB on the first day, you should book a morning flight from Jakarta, Surabaya, or Semarang arriving in Pangkalan Bun before 12:00 WIB. If your arrival is around 14:00 WIB or later, you may miss the feeding session at Camp 01 Tanjung Harapan.
